Pipework

Pipework Fabrication Since 1934

William H. Capper established the company at our premises in the business of pipework fabrication, in 1934. The experience and expertise of our tradesmen in pipework fabrication range from relatively simple spools to highly complex shapes, in a wide range of materials.

Pipework Range

Our range starts at 1/2″NB and continues through to 2500mm in diameter, and we are fully experienced in all materials, including all carbon steels, low alloy steels, nickel alloys, stainless steel, chrome-moly, Incoloy, Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy and Duplex.

All pipework fabrication is undertaken within our fabrication complex, which was specifically designed for long pipework fabrications. This is equipped with a full range of facilities, including automated tube-cutting equipment and a welding plant (manual metallic, MIG, TIG and Synergic MIG).

We also offer in-house NDE comprising Radiography, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection and Hydraulic Testing. Pre and post-heat treatment of welds can also be undertaken where required. All welding is undertaken by highly experienced coded welders to British, American and some European Standards.

Extensive weld procedures are maintained to suit almost all customer requirements. Fabricated pipework has been extensively supplied for the export market, including Russia, Poland, Hong Kong, Iraq, and other countries.
